Our client is a well established, long standing and reputable refrigeration, HVAC, mechanical and electrical organsiaiton, who offer a wide range of sustainable engineering solutions. As manufacturer of their own equipment as well as a professioanl service and maintenance company who serve the leading supermarket sector in the UK, this client has a lot to offer.
Due to new contracts be awarded, our client is looking for experience Refrigeration Engineers to carry out reactive & proactive works, in line with the company's "Standard Operating Procedures" (SOP)and key performance indicators.
What you’ll be doing…
- Collecting and fitting parts as directed by the Senior Managing Engineer / Operations Manager.
- Diagnosing and fixing equipment breakdowns.
- Using client systems.
- Carrying out calls as allocated by Service Control.
- Updating service records and timekeeping information in an accurate and timely way.
- Updating client reporting systems in an accurate and timely way.
- Working safely in line with health and safety procedures.
What success looks like…
- Building strong working relationships with customers and colleagues.
- A fundamental member of a multi-discipline team, who deliver safe reactive and proactive maintenance to a very high standard on a number of contracts.
- Working with your line manager to achieve the contract goals and KPI’s.
- Working with your team to ensure that all members of the team deliver to the highest standard possible
- Positive working relationships with stakeholders, keeping the client updated on the progress of the work and the likely repair times

- Experience with working on; refrigeration and alarm systems, air conditioning and building controls, food factory equipment, general equipment, electrical, fabric repairs.
- A ‘F-GAS 2079 Refrigerant Handling’ qualification.
- CO2 would be desirable but not essential
- Excellent attitude and approach to work.

In return for these skills and experience, our client is offering a competitive salary of £43k – £47k (DOE), and all of our employees 22 days holiday, rising incrementally to 25, plus bank holidays.
