Assembly Technician – Manufacturing

As part of their continued growth, they are seeking an Assembly Technician to join their established Manufacturing Team in Greater Manchester.

ROLE PURPOSE

As an Assembly Technician, you will play a key role in the final assembly and preparation of large-scale protective door systems prior to shipment. Your contribution will be essential to ensuring the product meets rigorous quality and safety standards before reaching the client.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Re-assemble components and parts for high-protection door systems.

• Use a range of hand and power tools confidently and safely.

• Carry out tasks such as deburring, mechanical fitting, and finishing.

• Work from technical drawings and instructions to complete assemblies to specification.

• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

We’re looking to hear from candidates with:

• Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing or workshop operations.

• Good working knowledge of mechanical tools and assembly techniques.

• The ability to work accurately, independently and as part of a team.

• A proactive, hands-on approach with a strong attention to detail.

• A flexible and committed attitude towards deadlines and quality.

WHAT’S ON OFFER

• Salary: £30,000 / £16 per hour + Overtime
• Hours: 37-hour contract | Monday-Thursday 6:30am-4:15pm
• Overtime: Fridays paid at 1.5x when available
• Holidays: 22 days + 8 bank holidays
