Regional Supervisor HVAC — North

The role is essentially an operational manager for a regional team of engineers, rather than simply a senior engineer this role would suit an experienced engineer who is now looking to come off the tools and take the next step in their career, moving into a Team Management position where you can use your technical knowledge while developing your management, leadership and customer-facing skills.
Main responsibilities include:
- Provide technical support and guidance to field engineers.
- Review and quote for work
- Client Management
- Act as the link between administration, management and the engineering team.
- Monitor engineers and ensure best practice in H&S, engineering standards and customer service.
- Participate in an on-call rota.
- Deliver contracted performance targets.
- Act as the Subject Matter Expert for the region's technical competencies.
- Liaise directly with clients to establish requirements and identify improvement/project opportunities.
- Maintain high customer-service standards.
- Ensure engineers maintain their technical competence and undertake ongoing development.
Qualifications / experience:
- City & Guilds / UK Level 3 NVQ in a relevant HVAC/Electrical discipline, or time-served with suitable experience.
- Relevant H&S qualification.
- Experience working in the industrial and commercial sectors.
- Demonstrable knowledge/experience of HVAC systems.
- Ability to understand schematic and wiring diagrams.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to pass a DBS check.
- Strong communication, organisation and customer-service skills.
- Microsoft Office/computer literacy.
