PLUMBING & HEATING ENGINEER

Location: Wiltshire & Surrounding Areas

An established M&E building services company with decades of industry experience and an excellent reputation for delivering a professional, reliable and friendly service is looking for an experienced Plumbing & Heating Engineer to join their growing team.

THE ROLE

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out plumbing and heating installation, testing, commissioning and repair work across a range of domestic and commercial environments.

SALARY & BENEFITS

• £42,000-£47,000 OTE per year, depending on experience

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Testing and commissioning plumbing and heating installations
• Identifying faults and carrying out repairs where required
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and building specifications
• Installing pipework and drainage systems
• Installing commercial and domestic heating and water plant
• Assessing labour requirements on individual projects
• Working closely with the Contracts Management team to ensure projects are properly managed and progressed
• Testing and commissioning heating, hot and cold water systems
• Recording test and commissioning data in line with relevant compliance requirements
   

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing
• Previous experience in domestic and/or commercial plumbing and heating
• Professional, friendly and approachable manner
• Flexible attitude with a strong customer-service focus
• Gas qualifications are desirable but not essential
• Full UK driving licence
