Behind the brand, designing a logo you will love (and of course the company you work for).
At Project Start, every design you see across social media is professionally thought through. Project Start’s Digital Marketing Executive – Jasmin redesigned the Project Start logo for certain social media posts and for its blogs. Logos serve many purposes, it will draw in the right clients and candidates, add credibility, and help build brand awareness as well as loyalty.
Your logo is a key marketing tool, so it’s important to follow these 5 steps –
Step 1: Defining your brand
Before you start your journey on designing or redesigning the company logo, spend some time and analyse what makes your brand so unique. A well-defined brand will work by bringing ideal clients to your business. Your brand should reflect business values in addition to client values.
Step 2: Competition, don’t be afraid to dive deep and research other businesses
Once you have an overall idea behind creating the logo and what you want the brand to represent, it’s now time to collect inspiration and checking out what your competition is doing. Try and collect everything that catches your attention and go from there.
Step 3: Test the concept
Design a few ‘mock-up’ logos if you are unsure on the direction you want to go in. Start up with basic concepts first and don’t be afraid to discard designs that don’t resonate what your business is about. Testing the concept goal is trying a variety of ideas until you find some that feel or fit well with the brand.
Step 4: Clarify your favourite
Once you have finished creating mock-ups it’s time to move forward with your favourite and the one which fits the brand. Clean up the typography and adjust the colours! The final goal at this stage of this process is to make your logo look professional.
