BMS SALES ENGINEER

Location: Midlands
Salary: £45,000-£55,000 + Commission + Company Car/Car Allowance

COMPANY OVERVIEW 

Our client is an established maintenance provider, who is delivering planned and reactive maintenance, building services and engineering solutions to commercial clients across the Midlands.

As the business continues to grow its BMS offering, they are looking to appoint an experienced BMS Sales Engineer to develop new opportunities and expand relationships with existing customers.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically knowledgeable BMS professional who also has a strong commercial and sales mindset.

JOB PURPOSE

As BMS Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying, developing and converting BMS opportunities across the commercial sector.

You will work closely with clients, facilities managers, estates teams, building owners and contractors to understand their requirements and recommend appropriate BMS solutions.

The role will cover the full sales process, from initial prospecting and site surveys through to producing proposals, negotiating contracts and securing new business.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop new BMS sales opportunities across the Midlands.
• Identify potential customers through existing relationships, networking, referrals and targeted business development.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with FM companies, building owners, facilities managers, M&E contractors and consultants.
• Visit commercial sites to assess existing BMS installations and identify opportunities for upgrades, replacement or optimisation.
• Carry out customer consultations and site surveys to understand technical requirements.
• Prepare accurate quotations, tenders, proposals and technical specifications.
• Develop solutions covering BMS upgrades, modifications, controls, energy optimisation and system replacements.
• Work with clients to identify opportunities to reduce energy consumption and improve building performance.
• Liaise with BMS manufacturers, suppliers, engineers and internal technical teams to develop suitable solutions.
• Manage opportunities from initial enquiry through to order.
• Present technical and commercial proposals to customers.
• Negotiate pricing and commercial terms to maximise profitability.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide regular sales forecasts and reports.
• Achieve agreed sales and gross-margin KPI's

SALARY & BENEFITS

£55k – £60K (OTE £75K)
