Job Specification: Floorer (Floor Layer)

Location Southampton-Portsmouth Area: 2 positions

Salary: £28,000 per annum plus bonus
Incentive: Up to £50 per completed room

Overview:
Our client who are a leading facilities management company are seeking experienced Flooring Technicians (Floor Layers) to join their team for a prestigious blue-chip contract.  You will be responsible for delivering high-quality flooring services across multiple locations, ensuring exceptional standards in all completed rooms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute flooring installations efficiently across assigned areas, focusing on speed and quality.
• Work in pairs, sharing one company-provided van, to cover designated regions.
• Complete work on time to maximize earnings through the £50 per completed room incentive.
• Maintain and manage flooring materials and tools provided by the company.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company standards.
• Liaise with the Facilities Management team to ensure smooth operation and communication.

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience: Must be a career floor layer with significant time-served experience. Preference for candidates who have focused solely on flooring rather than generalists.
• Skills: Strong expertise in a variety of flooring types, with a focus on quality and efficiency. Experience in working on large contracts and commercial properties is an advantage.
• Location: Must be based within 30 minutes of the Southampton-Portsmouth areas, as roles require close proximity for ease of travel.
• Mindset: Must be driven, with a "speed equals money" mentality, understanding that quick turnaround on rooms translates to higher earnings.

Incentives:

• Base Salary: £28,000 per annum.
• Bonus: Additional £50 per completed room, providing significant earning potential based on productivity.
