Due to continued success within a major blue-chip contract, they are now recruiting for a HVAC Supervisor – Looking after HVAC Technician/Engineers over 100 sites across the Central London region.

The HVAC supervisor is crucial to the delivery of PPM, Reactive and testing workstreams whilst supporting with technical assistance to all maintenance teams across the estate.

The role is responsible for effectively planning and leading HVAC teams to ensure all services are completed to the agreed standard and comply with all regulatory and company standards. This role is also responsible for overseeing all technical standards within the operation. You will be the technical expert and key account holder for FGas ensuring maintenance of our obligations to ensure our ongoing membership, in addition you will support and guide engineers through any training. This role will require you to supervise, influence and build strong working relationships with the customer, internal teams and regional HVAC technicians over 100 different sites in the Central London and surrounding areas.

The requirement to manage a budget and service delivery in a cost-effective manner is critical whilst ensuring compliance with customer and company Health & Safety requirements at all times.

The role is responsible for effectively planning and leading HVAC teams to ensure all services are completed to the agreed standard and comply with all regulatory and company standards. This role is also responsible for overseeing all technical standards within the operation. You will be the technical expert and key account holder for FGas ensuring maintenance of our obligations to ensure our ongoing membership, in addition you will support and guide engineers through any training.

Excellence

  • Ensure under performance on KPI’s is understood and action plans are in place to drive improvement.
  • Support the Divisional Operations Manager on all technical, people and FM process issues.

Service

  • Always represent the company in a professional manner and develop a good working relationship with HVAC technicians and the customer’s employees.
  • Ensure that all sites are covered for maintenance services, including Reactive and PPM.
  • Audit FM documentation and action on any non-compliance issues.
  • Deal promptly with all Help Desk calls and ensure that the issues are resolved effectively, escalating where necessary to the appropriate management level.
  • Regularly communicate with the customer on all FM activity.

Qualifications Required below:

  • SVQ/NVQ Level 3 within Heating/Ventilation/Mechanical Equivalent Qualification
  • ACS Commercial Gas Qualifications COCN,CIGA,CORT,ICPN,CDGA, TPCP1/1A as a minimum
  • ACS Domestic Gas Qualifications CCN, CENWAT, CPA as a minimum
  • City and Guilds 7671 18th Edition
  • Fully conversant with all major manufactures systems and equipment
  • In depth knowledge of HVAC systems
  • Strong PC literacy to include Microsoft word, excel and powerpoint
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to extract, collate and present data
  • Excellent planning, organising, prioritisation and project management skills
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making
  • Strong results focus, takes accountability for own performance

In return, our client is offering a total package of up to £61,300 per annum, including on call every 1 in 4 weeks + travel time + company van, tools and uniform + health care + pension scheme + 33 days annual leave.
