Mechanical Pipefitter -Water/Utilities 

We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Pipefitter to join our team working on critical projects within the water and utilities sector. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical pipework and associated systems, supporting water treatment facilities, pumping stations, and distribution networks.

Responsibilities:

• Install and assemble mechanical pipework systems (stainless steel, carbon steel, ductile iron, plastic)

• Interpret and work from engineering drawings, P&IDs, and site layouts

• Carry out pipe fitting, threading, cutting, bending, and welding as required

• Maintain and repair valves, pumps, and other associated mechanical equipment 

Requirements : 

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Pipefitter, ideally in water/utilities or industrial sectors

• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

• Competent in various pipe materials and jointing methods

• CSCS or equivalent safety card (essential)

• Confined Space and/or EUSR Water Hygiene (desirable)

• NVQ Level 2/3 in Pipefitting or Mechanical Engineering (preferred)

• Driving licence (essential if travel to sites is required)

Package :

• £36-38K Salary
